   Nothing is perfect, but sharpstone is close...

   This will be my 2nd sharpstone brand crank grinder. As long as you always turn the crank clockwise it never comes undone. My only issue issue, the reason i had to stop using my blue 2.5" crank is that the small threads on the lid became stripped after 3 years of daily use. I've owned many grinders, from many companies, and nothing I've used has matched the quality of sharpstone. I do, however, wish that Sharpstone would manufacture a crank grinder in a LARGE size, 2.5 and 3" are nice, but I would really love this grinder if it were 4" or larger. But, like I said, fantastic product, great company! Keep it up, always think different and never stop improving.

   The crank on the hand crank needs constantly re-tightened, i feel this needs redesigned in such a way as to make the crank a square that fits over a square shaft, then that's tightened down with a nut, something that will allow you to actually CRANK on the crank, everything isn't fluff... some herbs are very compressed... Otherwise this is a TOP notch product!
