Smooth turning no flakes of metal from production either, crystal catcher works well too and the colour looks amazing when viewed through a layer of , ground herbs . Cuts your desired material into manageable chunks not too small not too chunky, however for those looking for a more portable grinder a few sizes down would be good. Has the look and feel of a reliable grinder that will last me a long while.
